Individual Therapy

Individual Therapy

A Los Angeles California based client receives individual therapy virtually on their laptop in a peaceful, plant-filled room with LGBTQIA+ affirming rainbow decor, reflecting a supportive and inclusive environment.

About Individual Therapy

Individual Therapy sessions are 55 minutes long and conducted via secure video or telephone, available to all California residents, including those in Los Angeles and surrounding areas.

My virtual therapy practice offers a flexible, accessible way to receive support, wherever you are in the state.

In our first session, we’ll collaboratively set meaningful goals, exploring your strengths, resources, and areas where you may need additional support. We’ll revisit these goals regularly, ensuring they adapt and evolve with you.

Your goals may be specific, such as:

  • Honing your unique artistic voice over the next six months

  • Navigating a significant life or career transition

  • Cultivating mindfulness and emotional wellness in your daily life

Or, your goals may be more expansive, such as:

  • Improving communication in your relationships

  • Fostering self-compassion and resilience

  • Effectively managing stress, creative blocks, or burnout

  • Nurturing a deeper connection with yourself and exploring your identity

My approach is holistic and tailored, specializing in support for highly sensitive (HSP) and neurodivergent individuals, as well as LGBTQIA+ creatives, artists, and multi-hyphenates.

Whether you're seeking career counseling, exploring gender identity, or working through relationship dynamics like polyamory or ethical non-monogamy (ENM), I provide a safe, affirming, and trauma-informed space for growth and empowerment.

By offering holistic, somatic therapy, I integrate mindfulness and evidence-based techniques such as Hakomi, a somatic mindfulness-based practice, and Parts Work, helping clients navigate identity exploration, manage emotional wellness, and achieve personal growth.

My practice supports clients from Los Angeles to all parts of California, ensuring comprehensive and inclusive care for artists and creatives.

Rate

My rate for individual therapy sessions is $250 per 55-minute session.

Sessions are typically scheduled weekly, but I also offer bi-weekly sessions, with one spot currently available for this option.

Insurance

I do not accept insurance directly, but my services may be covered in full or partially by your health insurance PPO plan as an out-of-network provider.

To make the process easier and help clients save on therapy costs, I have partnered with Mentaya, a service that assists with reimbursement for out-of-network therapy sessions. You can click here to see if you qualify for reimbursement for my services.

Length of Treatment

Therapy reaches its culmination when our agreed-upon goals are achieved. Duration varies, from months to years, based on evolving goals and therapy's continued benefits. We work together as long as we have clear objectives and therapy remains beneficial.

No Cancellation Policy

Once an appointment is scheduled, it is final and non-cancellable, with no refunds or rescheduling for missed sessions.

However, I offer one "freebie" per year for unannounced cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances. Beyond that, any breaks or time off must be discussed and agreed upon in advance.

Please note, there may also be times when I will take time off for holidays or personal reasons, and I will always give notice when this occurs. Thank you for your understanding and commitment to your mental health journey.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

  • Make sure your healthcare provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit WWW.CMS.GOV/NOSURPRISES or call 800-985-3059.
